The winner of the 2026 LUX Audience Award has been announced on 14 April in the Hemicycle of the European Parliament in Brussels. Congratulations to the winning film ‘Deaf’ directed by Eva Libertad.
The 2027 edition will be launched on 25 November 2026 in Strasbourg with the announcement of the five nominated films.

For the 2026 edition, and for the first time, all five nominated films will be subtitled for the deaf and hard of hearing people in all 24 EU languages, making them more accessible.
Each year, the European Parliament organises free screenings of nominated films across the EU and invites European audiences to have their say by rating the films on luxaward.eu.
Among those who have rated, ten citizens will win a trip to attend the LUX Audience Award Ceremony in the European Parliament and 120 citizens will win other exciting prizes!
