Op een zonovergoten Grieks eiland maakt het animatieteam van een all-inclusive hotel zich klaar voor het drukke toeristenseizoen. Kalia is de leider van het team. Papieren decors, glanzende kostuums en dansshows vullen het podium. Naarmate de zomer vordert, neemt de werkdruk toe. De nachten worden steeds slopender en in het donker kan Kalia haar ware strijd niet langer verborgen houden. Maar wanneer de schijnwerpers weer aan gaan, is het devies: the show must go on.
