Apply now for the LUX Audience Award and Europa Cinemas’ Young Talent Programme 2026!

We are excited to announce a unique opportunity to take part in our annual Young Talent Programme. This initiative is designed to train and engage young professionals in the film industry across the European Union, offering the opportunity to gain professional experience, training, and be part of a network of European cinema professionals.

We’re selecting 27 young professionals, one from each EU country, for a fully funded training in Strasbourg, followed by a year-long experience as a LUX Talent in your home country. Here’s the rundown:

Why participate?

Selected participants will benefit from a fully funded experience in Strasbourg (5–8 October 2026), including:

• Attend the announcement of the LUX Audience Award nominees.
• Take part in mentorship sessions with filmmakers, distributors, producers & EU institutions.
• Build connections with emerging cinema professionals from across Europe.

What does it mean to be a Young Talent?

• Promote the LUX Audience Award within your cinema and country
• Organise and contribute to screenings, events and discussions around the selected films
• Collaborate with cinemas, festivals, and European Parliament Liaison Offices
• Use digital platforms and social media to engage audiences with the selected films and the Award

Who can apply?

We encourage applications from young professionals who:

• Are up to 35 years old
• Work in a cinema in 2025 and 2026 (programming, marketing, communication, social media, film education or audience development)
• To ensure diversity, particular attention will be given to cinemas involved in distribution, festivals, or complementary initiatives.
